Bio

Chris Callahan is a returning St. Joe teacher and St. Joe graduate of the class of 2008. He is excited to return and is ready to bring back AP physics, engineering, astronomy, and more!

Mr. Callahan began his teaching career at St. Joe in fall 2014 after graduating from Mississippi College with a bachelor's degree in physics. In his second year of teaching, he started the engineering class and began the robotics club. He also had a hand in acquiring a new telescope for the observatory on our lake.

After 3 years at St. Joe, Mr. Callahan pursued a handful of master's degree physics classes at Mississippi State University. He then moved to Austin, Texas, where he taught Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering at Austin High School and gained invaluable experience in the field. Mr. Callahan now returns to St. Joe to bring back everything he started and more, even stronger than before.
