What's a Draw Down?

A Draw Down is a reverse raffle in which the last name pulled becomes the winner. At Jeans, Jazz and Bruin Blues $10,000 Draw Down, names of ticket holders are pulled at random through the night until the final 10 names remain. The final 10 people remaining in the contest then must decide if they want to split the grand prize of $10,000 or continue having names pulled. The finalists must agree unanimously to split the prize; if they don’t, names will continue to be drawn.

Tickets for the Jeans Jazz and Bruin Blues $10,000 Draw Down are $150 a couple and give you a chance at the grand prize. You also can buy insurance for $25 which gives you a second chance to the grand prize if your ticket is among the first 100 drawn. Draw Down tickets admit two people to the event and include food, drinks and the opportunity to participate in raffles and silent auctions. You can buy tickets online at www.stjoedrawdown.com.

Anyone with children enrolled at St. Joe already has a ticket to the Draw Down; the price is included in the tuition and fees.
