On April 8, 2024, at approximately 1:00, Mississippi will be in the path of a rare solar eclipse. Our school plans to participate.
Allowing our students to take part in this event has many educational benefits. Our staff wants to ensure that students who participate have the consent of their parents and can do so safely.
This form is only for parents who want to OPT OUT of having their student(s) view the eclipse. Without this completed form, we will assume your child(ren) will participate in viewing the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic School.
