Bio
Dr. Ron May began teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School in 2016 when he moved to Jackson from Baton Rouge. He received his doctortate from Louisiana State University and his master's and bachelor's degrees from Mississippi College.
May taught Composition, World Masterpieces, American Lit, and British Lit at both colleges as well as a Film and Literature class at Loyola City College in New Orleans.
He worked as an educational technology consultant in the Division of Standards and Assessments at the Louisiana Department of Education and an Education Consultant for McGraw-Hill Education.
Currently, May teaches English III, AP Language and Composition and a Dual Credit Composition 1 & 2 through St. Joseph Catholic School.
