Coach McCall hails from Meridian, Mississippi, where he received his early education at Meridian High School, graduating in 1998. Excelling in three major sports—Football, Basketball, and Baseball—his athletic prowess was evident from an early age. Following his graduation, he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 13th round of the 1998 MLB Draft, marking the beginning of his journey in professional sports.

 

Continuing his academic pursuits, Coach McCall earned a degree in Sociology from Jackson State University. With a passion for mentoring young athletes, he has dedicated over two decades to coaching baseball at the high school level, shaping the next generation of players.

 

Beyond his professional commitments, Coach McCall finds fulfillment in his role as a husband to Tauna McCall and as a father to their four children. He prioritizes family time and actively engages in community service initiatives, reflecting his values of compassion and community involvement. An avid sports enthusiast, he remains deeply involved in various athletic pursuits, further enriching his life and the lives of those around him.
