Bio
Dr. Kinsey is a wife, mother, and grandmother who is an active member of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton where she serves on the Parish Council and as a lector.
Dr. Kinsey began as principal of St. Joseph Catholic School in 2017. She spent almost 15 years as a classroom teacher in public and parochial schools teaching at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Dr. Kinsey was teaching 12th grade religion and serving as high school director at St. Joseph when she accepted the position of principal. In addition to a career in education, Dr. Kinsey worked for 10 years in retirement planning – using her education skills to help corporate employees better understand their retirement plans.
Dr. Kinsey is licensed by the State of Mississippi to teach math and serve as a school administrator. She has a bachelor’s degree in education from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Mississippi College. She completed her doctoral degree in education from Mississippi State University in May of 2020.
