School-Wide Service Project

In lieu of our planned spring service drives, St. Joseph will be aiding those who were affected by the recent tornadoes in the Delta. Whereas donations have presently been pouring in, we understand that interest will wane as time goes by. It is our plan at St. Joe to send a truckload of much needed material to those who most need it each Friday for the rest of the school year. We will try to balance the donations over the course of eight weeks beginning April 6 and continuing until Friday May 26.

Please understand this is a flexible situation as aid stations open and close as needed. St. Joe will send out a list each Sunday explaining what is needed the following week and where it will be dropped off. For the sake of transparency,  every donation will be recorded, and a weekly report will be sent out detailing where the donations went.

Material donations are welcome, but if it is easier to write a check, St. Joe will make sure to distribute its value over the final eight weeks of school. We hope to send about $500 worth of supplies each week, or about $10 per student. Of course, we hope to send more as so many people have lost everything and their recovery will be long and difficult.

Please consider helping St. Joe in our quest to fulfill our Christian responsibility to our neighbors.
