Mrs. L. A. Pieroni » Bio


Mrs. Pieroni received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi and her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College. She has taught 30 years in DeSoto County, Jackson Public Schools, and Madison County Schools. She was awarded Teacher of the Year at Madison Avenue Upper Elementary and Humanities Award at Germantown High School. Mrs. Pieroni was the head tennis coach at Germantown High School and assistant tennis coach at Madison Central High School. In her coaching career, she has won numerous district championships and 5 state championship titles.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her husband works in the technology industry. Her daughter, Crawford (22) is in Occupational Therapy School at UMMC. Her daughter, Claudia (19) is a sophomore at Ole Miss majoring in Computer Science. The Pieroni family are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. In her spare time, Mrs. Pieroni enjoys playing tennis, walking, and reading.
