Congratulations to St. Joeseph Catholic School's own Michael Doherty and Andrew Sanli for being recognized at LeaderShip U on the LSU campus. Doherty was named the “Quiet Influencer” and Sanli “Most Outstanding Boy Leader.”
Doherty and Sanli along with 32 students from across the country attended a week-long residential camp July 15-20 at LSU.  The camp was designed to excite and inspire high school students entering the 10th-12th grade to learn about themselves and their impact on others, and to explore their role in the world at large.

Students experienced college life and put knowledge into practice through goal-setting, team-building, and leadership activities.

The camp works on intensely developing the teens' leadership skills through student-led talks on change, communication, conflict resolution, teen awareness issues and development of community service projects to take back to their hometowns, as well as teaching them how to pass on leadership skills to other students at their schools. LeaderShip U has graduated more than 300 national and international youth leaders.
