Memoir THE NIGHT THE BRUINS OF OLE RETURNED HOME

The Memories we have of one another are the greatest andprobably some maybe the worse (not all memories of school canbe THE GREATEST) The Times we shared are precious. Each
unique one full of The Many Smiles and Laughs, The Screamsand The Joys, The Victories and The Sorrows. The life we had at The Bruin's Cave was and is a story all in itself- One that I would never let anyone take away from me and I am
sure many of us feel the same way (Was it perfect, were we? Um Who on this earth is and what is perfect anyway? But it is ourstory and we share memories to this day that I guarantee can
entertain and make people say "no way" "wow youall are so lucky that most of you or all of you still stay connect in someway!" Side note ... as an artist I constantly go back to people I met and the experiences I had there ... Without a shadow of a
doubt a lot of my stories are inspired from my time either in The Bruin's Den (THE THEATRE) or The Bruin's Cave (The Classroom) they allow me to this day to create characters of the greatest
mettle and the most passionate of minds because I got to growup with some of the best Joes anyone could ever ask for. -
Thankful and Grateful Am I.
... We grow up ... We get engaged, married, have our own kids and see them begin to learn as we once did and then we say"Damn ... I owe my parents a thank you and a big apology." We
lived and learned in and on two campuses and as we grew as class some had to leave and others were assembled into ourdiverse collective of Artists and Atheletes and Some of The Biggest Hearts and Minds I have ever encountered.
The Great Thing about our community that still exist to this day is as we moved onward and upward and we embraced The Greatness that was The St. Joe (St. Joseph Community) and The Majesty that is our ever evolving Humanity ... No matter what ...
Be it welcoming Life, or Honoring the memory of someone we all lost ... No matter what ... You can put this in your pipe and smoke it ... The Communities of St. Joe are like another family to many of us and just like family ... The Bruin's Cave and all of The Inhabitants those of the Past, Current, and Present share this ...
We are Not The Average Joe ... We are more than meets the eye... We have Blue and Gold in our veins until the day we day ...
Because St. Joseph is ever changing, growing, strengthening, and enlightening all who cross this/ it's threshold. I truly count myself lucky to have learned from The Bruin's Cave and The
Sages of Knowledge that taught us about Life and Love and so much more ... it was not just a school it was my second home that helped me learn who I was meant to be.
Tonight I saw something amazing as I gazed down from thecafeteria deck ... I saw a collective of students and their family and our faculty backing their team, their community, they cared
about each other and their school ... The Spirit of The Bruin was alive and The Blue and Gold ran ever so wild like a storm on the sea - something so beautiful and strong that it inspired me ...

Dedicated to The Class of 2001
Thank you for accepting me as I was and as I am ..
You all are amazing people ...
Amazing fathers, mothers, friends, and can't forget Bruins
You might not know it ... but all of you are and have been my biggest inspirations and I thank you from the bottom of my heart
