•  Each quarter all St. Joseph students are expected to perform some required hours of service involvement on behalf of people or non-profit people-helping organizations, as part of their Religion class.  Service opportunities are posted regularly on the Service bulletin board and service diversity is encouraged.  Not all service should be in one activity.  Summer Mission Trips and Vacation Bible School are given a maximum of 15 hours and are due before the end of the first quarter.  All service hours obtained during the summer will count towards half of your service hour commitment.  Upon completion of your commitment, the outstanding hours will be added to your total service hours.

•  Students will receive the Service Hour Guidelines as a reference.

•  Please contact the organization for times and availability of service opportunities.  Remember to have your service sheets signed and dated.  No parent signature will be accepted unless he/she is the supervisor of the project.  If a parent is the supervisor, an official letterhead stating so can be attached to the service form.
