Drama Department

St. Joseph Catholic School offers opportunities for students to study and practice drama. Classes include a quarter class in an Introduction to Theater in seventh and eighth grade, as well as year long courses in Theater I through IV for high school students. Dance class is also offered for students grades 8 through 12.

St. Joseph puts on two productions during the school year, a fall play and spring musical. Students must audition for each production and practices take place after school. For 2013-2014, the fall production was Arsenic and Old Lace; Guys and Dolls was performed in the spring. The productions for the 2014-2015 school year will be posted during the summer.

The drama department is under the direction of Rachael Kenyon. Mrs. Kenyon joined the St. Joseph family in 2007. In her time here, Mrs. Kenyon has directed numerous plays and musicals, as well as added a dance class elective.
